Account deletion

Request deletion in the app

1. Open the Tixby mobile app and sign in to the account you want deleted.
2. Go to Account or Settings.
3. Choose Delete account or Contact support if the delete option is unavailable.
4. Confirm your request. We may ask you to verify ownership of the account before processing it.

Request deletion by email

Email tixbyapp@gmail.com from the email address linked to your Tixby account. Use the subject “Delete my Tixby account” and include your account email, organiser name if applicable, and whether you want full account deletion or deletion of specific data.

Data we delete

• Account profile information such as your name, email address, phone number, profile photo, and organiser profile details.
• Saved preferences, saved events, follows, notifications, and non-essential support messages tied to your account.
• Eligible event, competition, ticket, vote, and organiser records where deletion is legally and operationally permitted.

Data we may keep

Some information may be retained after account deletion when necessary for legal, safety, fraud-prevention, accounting, payout, transaction, or dispute-resolution reasons.

• Transaction, ticket, vote, payout, fraud-prevention, tax, accounting, dispute, chargeback, security, and compliance records that Tixby is required or permitted to keep.
• Event or competition content that must remain available to fulfil confirmed orders, protect attendees, support organisers, or satisfy legal obligations.
• Backups and logs for a limited period before they are automatically overwritten or deleted according to our retention practices.

Timing

We aim to process eligible deletion requests within 30 days after verification. Where we need more time because of legal, security, fraud-prevention, payout, dispute, or technical requirements, we will let you know.
